The Mighty Muscadine

Among 8,000 types of grapes in the world, Muscadine Grape is one of the biggest and rarest grapes available. Big, bold, and packed with antioxidants, it caught the attention of scientists at Shaklee, who made it available for all in the form of a healthy, highly concentrated beverage.

Unlike other grapes the muscadine contains a full spectrum of beneficial polyphenols, including ellagic acid and ellagitannins.

Scientists believe the muscadine grape’s extra pair of chromosomes imbues the grape with powerful survival mechanisms and robust antioxidant properties.

The skin, seeds, and pulp of the muscadine grape have a unique natural blend of polyphenols that help neutralise harmful molecules that can potentially damage cells.
